SYS DIR-GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS

Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Health, Public Policy, or related field required. Master's degree a plus.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or advocacy, with a strong background in health care or regulatory environments. Academic Medical Center experience preferred 

Prior specific functional responsibilities: Experience in government relations, public affairs, advocacy or a related field Political Acumen and Diplomacy

Preferred experience: Proven experience working with legislative bodies, regulatory agencies, and public officials. Experience leading successful advocacy campaigns and lobbying efforts

Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory process, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. A background in law or public policy may be beneficial.

Strong understanding of health care policy, regulatory environments, and the legislative process.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate policy implications and provide strategic guidance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience in public speaking and stakeholder engagement.

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of Premier Health's target audience and business objectives.

Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to drive innovation and growth.

Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing cross functional teams and external partners.
